Job Description

We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our team! The ideal candidate will diagnoses and treats mental health disorders through counseling, create personalized treatment plans, assess progress, and collaborate with our healthcare provider on patients’ health. The schedule is 24 hours weekly to start, 8 hour shifts with one office day and two remote days.

Responsibilities:

Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
Provide prevention-oriented therapy
Implement and review treatment plans
Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) or at the Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or LCADC level.
Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
Familiarity with community mental health resources
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to build rapport with client
Prior used of Tebra (Kareo) EHR a plus

MedHaven Health is a family medical practice that is currently in the process of expansion. We are actively seeking to add a new team member to our mental health support team, with a primary focus on our patient’s mental well-being. Initially, this role will be part-time and includes Monday in office hours and two other remote days, 8-hour shifts. However, as our practice continues to grow, there is potential for career advancement and the opportunity to transition into full-time hours.
