JOB TITLE:

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Specialty Equipment Tech responsible for handling, inspecting, and testing a specific range of product line tools. This role involves meticulous cleaning, calibration, restocking of specialized tools, and updating project schedules. Ideal for newcomers in the field, this position provides on-the-job training and involves ensuring the timely completion of project requests.
PAY:
·$21/hour
LOCATION:
·Lawrenceville, Georgia. 30043
SHIFT:
·Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (approximately)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
- Interpret and analyze drawings, procedures, and manuals effectively.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and adjustments on various tools.
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance and utilize appropriate tools for tasks.
- Promptly assemble specialized tooling kits and sub-kits.
- Manage inventory for restocking kits and sub-kits, ensuring quality assurance.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks on delivered kits and sub-kits for completeness and functionality.
- Manage inventory of returned kit and sub-kit items meticulously.
- Conduct visual and functional inspections to verify the condition of kits and sub-kits.
- Clean, reorganize, and test returned kits and sub-kits diligently.
- Maintain meticulous records of inspections, restocking, and assignments in tooling systems.
- Track serial numbers of precision/specialty tools for asset and certification purposes.
- Coordinate with vendors for production maintenance or calibration as necessary.
- Monitor certification dates and oversee shipments of specialty tools.
- Troubleshoot operational errors and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct tests and evaluations on products or processes to ensure repair quality.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities.
- Adhere strictly to standard maintenance protocols.
- Participate in annual safety training sessions as required.
- Be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Be prepared to travel for field assignments.
- Take on additional duties to support the organization's objectives and values.
REQUIREMENTS:
·High school diploma or equivalent.
·2+ years of experience in quality inspections.
·Knowledge of a variety of tools and equipment.
·Basci computer skills
·Able to follow written work instruction in English.
