Responsibilities:
Payroll Tax:
Process SUTA return for several states
Monthly reporting TC941E Utah
Sales Tax:
Verify the compliance of current state Tax reports
Recover sales tax credit from different states
Fill state sales tax return, and open new account when needed
Solve any pending issues on QST/GST returns vs payments.
Corporate Tax:
Work with our Canadian accounting firm to prepare the Corporate Tax return
Work with our US accounting firm to prepare the Corporate Tax return
Others:
Collaborate with the auditors on the year end audit
Recover 1102 and 941 tax credit from the IRS
Help with property Tax renditions preparation
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
At least 4 years of experience in federal, state, and local tax preparation and accounting required
Knowledge of Canadian Tax is a plus
Capable to work with minimal supervision on complex tax matters
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with excel (tested)
Past experience with SAP Business One and QuickBooks is a plus
