Summary:
This is a mid career /experienced BAS / HVAC Operations Manager position in the commercial MEP Service & Construction field. A great position for someone with leadership, enthusiasm, organizational skills and multitasking abilities who has managed construction BAS projects. Operations Manager $135K Plus some OT depending on workload

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (Mechanical Engineering preferred), Master's/MBA preferred.
PMP or other technical certifications are a plus.
5-7 years of experience in engineering and project management in Building Automation/HVAC Controls.
Strong experience in supervising staff and financial management.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC and mechanical contracting industry.
Strong operational management, sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Established client relationships in Massachusetts (consulting engineers, mechanical contractors).
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.

Responsibilities:
Manage projects ranging from $8-15MM, overseeing field and office staff, including project supervisors.
Handle budget, P&L management, and reporting.
Provide technical support, leadership, and accountability for installed projects.
Direct all installation activities, manage resource allocation, and meet revenue targets.
Build and maintain a team focused on customer and employee satisfaction, and profitable growth.
Ensure projects adhere to plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Establish operational excellence standards, manage work-in-progress, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain and improve project margins, coordinate between engineering, operations, and sales.
Oversee warehouse, safety, and fleet management programs.
