We are currently searching for an experienced residential real estate Real Estate Title Review Attorney to join our growing team! This key Real Estate Counsel position requires an understanding of residential real estate transactions and all aspects of the title review and curative process. This Charlotte, NC based position is hybrid with in-office requirements , and the candidate must possess a high degree of autonomy and the ability to work independently. Ideal candidates will be highly intelligent, hard-working, creative, results-driven and confident in their abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete and thoroughly review each assigned title search
  • Examination of all legal documents to ensure they are in compliance with state law
  • Prepare preliminary / final title opinion statements
  • Conduct residential real estate closings involving lenders, buyers, and sellers
  • Interacting with clients as counselor and advisor
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • JD from accredited Law School
  • South Carolina and North Carolina bar licenses required
  • 3+ years of real estate law experience
  • Must be currently, or previously approved by multiple title insurance agencies to be considered
  • Proven ability to analyze, prioritize and execute multiple projects and complex tasks under a deadline
  • Ability to analyze legal issues and to provide effective, practical advice on routine legal matters
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
