Responsibilities:* Duties and Responsibilities: Refinish vehicles to meet company standards of quality Color match (tint) mix and paint Prepare damaged/repaired areas for painting Paint parts and vehicle as quickly as possible, using proper repair refinish methods Assist in the smooth flow of work through the shop Account for time spent on each job each day by using shop approved method Maintain work area in clean and safe condition Keep Estimator/Writer and Team Leader aware of work status on all jobs Alert the Estimator/Writer and Team Leader to any unusual problems or additional work needed on a vehicle Work with the Team Leader in order to ensure the paint department has the materials and supplies needed. Provide own hand tools and mobile tool cabinet.
Qualifications:* Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Working knowledge of all aspects of repairing and painting damaged vehicle body parts and bodies of vehicles. Must have a valid drivers license. Ability to interpret vendor catalogs. Two years of experiences as a body technician, painter, or apprentice. Ability to use hand and power tools and other machinery in a safe manner.
