Land Survey Technician

Dykstra Walker Design Group is seeking a full-time hardworking, career-minded person with an interest in working as a land surveying technician, or crew chief.
The candidate will train with our current survey staff to complete projects from an initial boundary and/or topographic survey, through construction stakeout, and finally an as-built location survey of a completed project. The position involves outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions. There are opportunities for additional schooling and licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor. A valid driver’s license is required.
EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma required
Strong math skills and mechanical inclination are desirable
Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, or AutoCAD is a plus, but not required
Experience with survey transits, robotic total stations, GPS, or drones is preferable
.
