As the primary point of contact for members entering the pool area, the Pool House Attendant plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall member experience. This position requires a proactive and personable individual dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in members upon their arrival at the pool area, ensuring a welcoming and professional demeanor at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, pool house facilities, and restrooms throughout the shift.
• Manage pool-side towel service, including distribution, collection, and laundering to maintain a steady supply of clean towels for members.
• Assist members with inquiries, requests, and general assistance, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate activities, events, and special services within the pool area, contributing to a cohesive and efficient team environment.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills, staying informed about industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with members of all ages and backgrounds.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and order in the pool area.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of pool safety protocols and procedures preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift/carry heavy objects regularly in a pool environment.
