Oral Surgery Assistant

Out busy, high-quality, oral surgery practice is looking for a full-time oral surgery assistant.

We are looking for someone with dental experience (oral surgery preferred).

**Previous experience as a dental assistant or surgical assistant is REQUIRED.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with DSN Practice Software and iCAT/Dexis imaging systems is desired. Strong understanding of dental/medical anatomy and terminology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to maintain patiient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Strong interpersonal skills. ABility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Duties:

Assist the surgical team during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Prepare the operating room by sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Set up surgical instruments and equipment according to the surgeon's preferences. Anticipate the needs of the surgeon during procedures. Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure. Monitor patient vital signs during surgery. Knowledge of implant procedures and the various brands/sizes, etc. Other tasks as needed.
