Software Engineer Java

We are seeking a Software Engineer Java to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, thoroughly tested code for customer-facing applications, ensuring robustness and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Business System Analysts to estimate and break down work, translating requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Implement Java applications that seamlessly integrate with diverse systems, leveraging APIs and frameworks.
• Engage in design reviews with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
• Partner with Software Architects to adhere to best practices and maintain code quality standards.
• Provide support to the team as needed, offering technical guidance and assistance.
• Contribute to the enhancement of existing documentation and educational materials, adapting content to reflect evolving product/service features.
• Proactively triage product or system issues, employing analytical skills to debug, track, and resolve issues impacting hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a managed service provider environment, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of such settings.
• Extensive hands-on experience (3+ years) in Java development frameworks, with a strong command of core Java principles and practices.
• Proficiency (3+ years) in Test-Driven Development (TDD), with a track record of building robust, testable codebases.
• Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in building applications that scale to accommodate thousands of concurrent users, with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development processes, including iterative development, continuous integration, and delivery practices.
