Position Summary:
The Assembler position will assist in both medical device assembly and operating / troubleshooting the plastic injection molding machines. This individual will focus primarily on the Molding machine operation, but may be called on to assist with the regular assembly process.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce components, subassemblies, or final assemblies with minimal supervision
• Follow in-line checks to verify work performed, utilize hand tools as required, such as calipers and rulers
• Perform in-line product testing on subassembly and finished products
• Operate equipment such as adhesive dispenser, UV cure, hot box, and tipping machines
• Identify defects and communicate defects to supervisor and/or engineer for the product through use of the reject log or direct communication

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or relevant experience preferred
• 2-5 years of medical device assembly experience
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electro-mechanical equipment to determine and correct issues
• Ability to read, listen to and follow directions in English
