Phoenix Branch Manager - Pediatrics Home Health

Dependable Nurses Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager for Pediatrics in our Phoenix Arizona location.  This role will be responsible for oversight of all the administrative functions which in turn support the clinical operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality care.  The vast majority of the pediatric patient population served is from the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).  As a result, prior experience working with the DDD is preferred for this role.

Job Duties / Responsibilities include:

• Manage the scheduling department to ensure patient’s needs are met and covered for shift work with a match of a clinician who can meet those needs.
• Oversee the HR function to keep all required employee files up to date for compliance needs and onboard all new hires with the proper documentation.
• Manage the intake needs of the company for all new patient admits, including verifying insurance and authorization.
• Working with the DDD to match the needs of this population with available staff to build up the census and revenues.  Also working with the DDD and other health plans to extend existing authorizations when those run out.
• Communicate with patients and their families to assess their needs and provide appropriate support.
• Oversee the recruitment function to help the company continue to add clinical staff to meet the needs of the pediatric community for home health care needs.
• Ensure adherence to established company policies, procedures and protocols.
• In collaboration with the CFO, ensure the company is on track to meet its financial goals and budgeted targets.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or a minimum of 3 years previous experience in management in the health care field.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Familiar with state, federal and local regulations governing pediatric home health services.

Familiar with the DDD rules and regulations since this is where the majority of the patients we serve come from.
