Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic dental team.

Schedule: Part-time, Fridays and Saturdays

As an EFDA, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dentist in various clinical procedures. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to creating a positive and comfortable dental experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist in a range of dental procedures, including but not limited to restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, and oral surgery treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures, ensuring proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
Perform preliminary patient assessments, including taking and recording vitals, dental histories, and X-rays.
Update and maintain patient records and treatment charts accurately and efficiently.
Take accurate impressions of patients' teeth for study models, crowns, bridges, and other dental prosthetics.
