Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Hand Therapist/occupational Therapist to join our team for treating patients with upper extremity pain, stiffness either after surgery or after injury.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement hand therapy programs for each patient
- Work directly with the patient to achieve maximum recovery
- Evaluate patient's hand mobility restrictions, develop a plan for treatment utilizing various modalities and communicate patients' progress with the surgeon
- Record and document patient care services
- Collaborate with other the hand surgeon to achieve best possible care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hand therapy/occupational therapy is requested but not mandatory
- Ability to build rapport, complete patients' charts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
