Umbraco Back End Developer - Remote

Title: Umbraco Back End Developer
Pay: $85K per year DOE

We are seeking a skilled Umbraco Back End Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Umbraco development and a passion for creating efficient, scalable solutions.

What we're looking for:

• Develop and maintain Umbraco-based web applications and websites
• Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a back-end developer, specifically with Umbraco CMS

• Strong understanding of .NET framework and C#

• Proficiency in SQL Server and database design

• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services

• Familiarity with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
