Master Automotive Technician - Multiple Locations Available

We are the final remaining chain of full-service automotive repair shops in the valley, proudly owned and operated by a local family. With multiple locations spread across the valley, we are experiencing rapid expansion.

The Master Automotive Technician, will diagnose and repair vehicles, conduct routine maintenance, and provide outstanding customer service. From engine diagnostics to brake repairs, your technical expertise will ensure vehicles run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and recommend necessary repairs.
• Stay updated on automotive technology advancements for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
• Document all repair activities accurately and maintain precise records.
• Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or level 4 technical training program in automotive repair with 7 years or more of practical experience.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools, as well as computerized automotive repair systems.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures for various makes and models.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and work independently or collaboratively.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Certified Master Technician and ASE certification or relevant automotive repair certification required.

ASE certifications: Suspension and Steering Brakes Heating & Air Conditioning Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling Engine Repair Electrical/Electronic Systems Engine Performance Auto Advanced Engine Performance Automatic Transmission/Transaxle Manual Drive Train & Axels

Work Environment:

Work in repair shops or service centers with exposure to noise, fumes, and hazardous materials. Safety protocols and personal protective equipment are mandatory. Flexible work schedules may include weekends or evenings. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions and combustibles. Fast paced working environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
