Sr. Inventory Lead - 1944044

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:

• The SR Inventory Lead is responsible for leading all inventory cycle counting, reporting functions, and inventory reconciliation processes and KPIs.
• Supervises receiving activities of employees handling items and deliveries, including unloading, intake, storage, and distribution of items.
• Performs responsibilities in a safe, accurate, and timely manner, adhering to safety policies, quality standards, and time guidelines.
• Reports to the Receiving Supervisor as part of the Southaven Customer Service Center management team, contributing to logistics excellence in service, quality, and cost through metric-driven continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages overall inventory, supporting the supply chain and manufacturing.
• Implements Center of Excellence (COE) best practices for inventory management.
• Develops and implements end-to-end Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance inventory visibility.
• Drives corporate-wide month and quarter-ending reconciliations with Finance.
• Communicates inventory metrics weekly and monthly.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement solutions.
• Leads continuous cycle count initiatives and physical audits.
• Works with Industrial Engineering and operations teams to improve inventory slotting strategies.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience with warehouse, operations and enterprise management systems and processes
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, problem solving and creative thinking skills
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification a plus
