Description
Killgore Pearlman, an Orlando-based law firm, seeks a full-time Probate, Trust, and Guardianship Paralegal. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the areas of probate and guardianship administration. This is not a remote position and requires to be in office Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
•Assist with the administration of estates, trusts, and guardianship
•Prepare petitions and related court filings, including annual accountings
•Maintain financial records for use in the preparation of asset inventory accountings and tax returns
•Have a "client-first" mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Resolve complex and non-routine client issues and inquiries promptly
•Able to review and understand bank statements and other financial documents
•Strong verbal, written, and proofreading skills
•Coordinate with outside vendors such as CPAs and transfer agents to collect data, account information, and various other information from various financial institutions
•Able to manage a high caseload
Qualifications
•Extremely organized and detail-oriented while accomplishing tasks appropriately
•Self-motivated and capable of working independently
•Knowledge of Probate and Guardianship filings and forms
•High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite and ADOBE
•Time Management and deadline-oriented
