Massage Therapist

Myofascial/Massage Therapist Lokahi Acupuncture is seeking an experienced, skilled, and passionate Massage Therapist to join our team in San Jose, CA, US. If this sounds like you, apply today! • Must be available to work at least 25 hours/week • We pay a living wage • We pay for admin time Responsibilities: • Use therapeutic massage techniques to deliver a safe and exceptional customer experience that meets their needs and desired results • Evaluate each client’s physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment • Keep track of client treatment records and plans and monitor improvement • Give clients suggestions for wellness maintenance such as stretches and stress relief techniques • Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development Qualifications: • Over one year of work experience as a massage therapist • Must have experience in different types of massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, sports massage, Swedish massage, and reflexology • High school diploma or equivalent • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Completion of a massage therapy program preferred • Must have licensure that complies with state and local laws • Specialist qualifications in musculoskeletal, myofascial massage, and/or trigger point therapy • We would love someone comfortable with fire-cupping Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 yearly
