Preschool Aide / Bus Driver

Cincinnati Urban Promise is currently hiring for a full-time Preschool Aide / Bus Driver to assist our preschool teachers and transport the children to and from our center in the Cincinnati, OH area. This assistant teaching position earns a competitive wage of $12.50 - $13.00/hour.

DAY-TO-DAY

This assistant teacher position offers a work-life-balanced schedule of Monday - Friday, 6:45 am - 2:45 pm.

As an assistant teacher, you are an invaluable help to our team. Conscientious and caring, you assist our teachers in providing a clean, safe environment where each child can learn, grow, and prosper. Your day is full of variety as you provide support wherever you are needed. You fill in when there are staff absences, help with cleaning, assist with lunch prep, and prepare the classrooms. In addition, you drive our 15-passenger short bus and provide transportation to and from the center.

Throughout the day, you take advantage of every moment you spend with the children to help them feel valued and appreciated. An excellent communicator, you listen carefully and help teach the concepts that are outlined for that day with clarity and an eye to each child's needs. As you do so, you love seeing the progress the children make. They fill your days with laughter and surprise, and you feel great knowing you are giving them a solid foundation that they can build on for years to come!
