Manufacturing Quality Inspector

Aegis Worldwide has partnered with a top-tier manufacturer in the Hartford, CT area. We are looking for Quality Inspectors to join their team and grow within their company.

·       Pay:

·       up to $29/HR + OT

·       Shift:

·       First 6:00am – 3:30pm

·       Second 3:00pm – 12:30am

·       Hours per week

·       50-55

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform inspections on machined components
• Experience with microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and gages.
• Perform First Piece, FAI, In-process, and Final Inspection
• Completes necessary documentation related to Quality Inspection standards.
• Experience with handling non-conformities
• Ensure Good Document Practices
• Ability to use and navigate ERP and QMS systems to ensure inspection and traceability activities are properly documented and controlled, as needed.
• Must follow occupational Safety and Health requirements including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidance and rules.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent directly transferrable work experience (Manufacturing or Engineering discipline preferred).

Experience

• Minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
