Job Title: Cloud DevOps Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6 months

Overview:

Our client is looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of cloud technologies, DevOps principles, and hands-on experience in provisioning, deploying, and supporting workloads in AWS. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability and security.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Utilize DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar to streamline deployment and orchestration.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into the cloud environment.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CDK, or similar tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud technologies and DevOps principles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CDK, or similar tools.
• Programming knowledge (Java, Python, or similar) is required.
• AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, are considered advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
