The Field Service Apprentice will work closely with experienced Field Service Technicians to gain hands-on experience and develop skills with the installation and repairs of windows and doors.  This individual will work at various job sites to assist the Field Technician in performing necessary repairs or small installations for homeowners as described in the scope of work. The successful Field Service Apprentice can adapt to a variety of work environments and learn how to quickly solve problems.

Core Responsibilities:  

• Assist Field Technician by performing necessary repairs for homeowners as described in the scope of work.
• Provide hands-on assistance with the repair or replacement of windows and doors.
• Take Measurements and cut trim.
• Cut and bend coil to fit window configuration.
• Assist the Field Technician with documentation through photos and videos.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Respond to all forms of communication within 24 hours.
• Report to assigned Field Service Technician, and Operations Manager
• Additional duties as assigned.
  

Basic Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous window and door experience (installation and repairs)
• Experience bending coil a must.
• Must be dependable, maintain regular attendance and be punctual.
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable working from heights and on multiple pitches of roofing.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must possess knowledge of basic tools.
• Present yourself in a professional manner, a good listener and communicator with customers & staff.
• Dependability: Complete tasks on time; follow instructions and respond in a positive manner when given direction.
• Fulfill responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• MS Office Proficiency.
