Logistics Business Development Manager - REMOTE Position / Work From Home
AFT is seeking a Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team! We are an extremely fast-growing company adding hundreds of trucks over the next year or more.
Responsibilities:
- Seeks alternative contracts operating OTR (Dedicated lanes, Government contracts, Private existing company partnerships such as FedEx, USPS, UPS, etc
- Provides the team notice of account creations to be filled and managed
- Document everything
- Oversee the daily sales operations
- Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
- Establish goals and metrics
- Other various duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Business Development Management or similar
- Must have Logistics, Trucking, Transportation, or similar experience
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Must be very reliable
