Inkjet Operator

Badger State Staffing is seeking an experienced Inkjet Operator for a full-time opportunity on first shift based in the Greenville area. As an Inkjet Operator, you’ll be responsible for the set up and operation of inkjet equipment, inserting equipment and other bindery equipment as needed. You will also maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical challenges that may arise.

Duties:

Set up and operate inkjet equipment for printing on mail pieces
Oversee quality, assuring barcodes meet postal specifications, and image is clean and clear
Perform routine maintenance
Place finished mail pieces in mail trays, strap and palletize
Set up and operate inserting equipment
Perform manual sorting and manual tagging of trays according to postal regulations
Work with folders, cutters, and stitchers on occasion

Qualifications:

Experience with sorting mail to USPS standards
At least one year of experience working with inkjets, inserters, or tabbing machines
Knowledge of postal sortation, traying, and palletizing
Strong mechanical aptitude
