Requirements

As a Master Craftsman, what's most important to us is a strong work ethic, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of all trades—from Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling to light Plumbing and Electrical.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

10+ years of remodeling, handyman, or residential construction experience
Ability to perform carpentry, tiling, drywall work, light plumbing & electrical, and door/window installation
Previous experience being a mentor and leader to less experienced Craftsmen
Must live within 10 miles of Elgin, IL
Own set of standard hand and power tools
Comfortable with a pre-employment background check
