Sr. Software Engineer, Web

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop robust and scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and other web technologies
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Implement best practices for code quality, performance, security, observability, and documentation
• Participate in agile ceremonies, lead technical discussions, and serve as a role model to the team
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack including root cause investigation and analysis
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend relevant tools and frameworks
• Participate in architecture and code modernization planning and help drive implementation

Key Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development
• Deep understanding of React, Nodejs, HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Strong desire to work in the futures industry and develop cutting-edge trading applications
• Knowledge of modern frontend/fullstack architecture patterns and concepts
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, state management libraries, design systems, and content management systems
• Experience with Webpack, Google Cloud Platform, Github Actions, JIRA and Recoil preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
