Job Description

Manage clinical trials collection activities with the team.
Will lead upcoming automation projects and new system implementation.
Serve as liaison between clinical research teams and practice Revenue Cycle teams to assist with questions regarding coverage analysis, billing grids, patient research visit details, etc. for the resolution of research accounts and to facilitate accurate and compliant clinical trials billing.
Resolve account balance discrepancies between sponsors and the Company.
Designs, develops, and implements management reports that provide concise and accurate financial status assessments at various levels of detail.
Assist with ongoing review of internal processes to streamline or create new more efficient processes.
Reconcile sponsor provided statements to Accounts Receivable detail.
Establish collection goals and continuously monitor and report on achievement.
Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual collection results.
Identify and modify processes and procedures for additional efficiencies.
Leads special projects in improving processes and controls.

Qualifications

4 plus years' experience working as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Strong experience financially managing a large portfolio of industry sponsored clinical trials.
Strong knowledge of clinical research, including coverage analyses and clinical trials budgeting and federal guidelines/regulations pertaining to clinical research.
Demonstrated knowledge of Electronic Health Records System and Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).
Experience in healthcare collections including industry sponsored clinical trials.
Experienced in medical billing, collections, or revenue cycle.
Experience working with large amounts of data.
Knowledge of Great Plains preferred or another robust ERP.
Strong management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and presentation skills.
