Compensation:
Claim Fraud Investigator (Grade H, 342 points): $71,142 - $112,450
Responsibilities:
- Detect and investigate claims frauds and conduct investigations through fieldwork, research, surveillance, and other means, including joint investigations with law enforcement agencies and insurance carriers.
- Assist in the training of claims examiners to recognize suspicious claims activity.
- Claims include workers' compensation, no-fault, bodily injury, and property damage.
- Strong knowledge of medical fraud.
- Participate in undercover investigations.
- Seek remedies against those committing fraud, including referral to prosecutors for criminal prosecution as well as assisting the Law Department in pursuing civil remedies.
- Maintain cooperative and productive relationships with enforcement agencies, insurance carriers and organizations dedicated to combating claims fraud.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 3 years related experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial and/or supervisory role.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge in insurance claims and/or claims fraud investigations and/or law enforcement detective experience.
- Experience using social media in the conduct of investigations.
- Undercover investigation and/or white-collar crime investigation experience.
- Strong written and verbal-communications skills.
