We then specialize in tailoring a treatment program focusing on those underlying issues; using specific interventions that help empower our clients to reach their targeted goals!

Lexington uses a holistic approach, where therapists collaborate closely with family members, support coordinators and everyone else involved! Through Occupational, Music, and Speech therapy we are able to provide our clients with the help they need and prepare families with the tools they need to continue our client's progress at home!

Lexington Therapy Services is looking for a Full-time or Part-time Pediatric Speech Language Philologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing therapy team!

About Lexington: We are an outpatient pediatric therapy team with 2 clinics in the valley (Phoenix and Mesa). We currently offer occupational, speech, and music therapy - with physical therapy recently being approved through the state of Arizona!

Our team consists of 2 awesome administrative assistants, a rehab director, a scheduler, a recruiter, 14 OT/COTAs, 12 SLP/SLPAs, and 6 music therapists! Every therapist get's their own personalized office space, we have a shared sensory/gross motor gym area, an evaluation room, and a calming room to utilize at your disposal during sessions!

Job Description:

Lexington Therapy Services is looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).. As an SLPA, you will be responsible for treating patients for a variety of speech and hearing disorders, as well as helping patients retain their skills and improve their communication levels. You may also take part in the process of creating treatment plans for these patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will assist the SLP with screenings, assessments and Speech and Language services
• Prepare therapy materials
• Adapts and modifies structural materials
• Planning for and providing targeted therapy for a variety of children on your caseload
• Proper daily note taking using electronic documentation platforms
• Maintain Client caseload
• Assist and maintaining student records
• Progress Reporting

Job Requirements:

• SLPA Licensed in the State of Arizona - must be in good standing
• Feeding experience/certification required
• 18 years or older
• Experience working with children of all ages and with a variety of disorder areas
• The ability to build strong relationships with children and parents
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Creativity and flexibility

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
