Warehouse Associate - Optical

Job Title: Optical Technician

Pay: $16 - 17.50 / HR | Bi-weekly

Job Type: Oak Park, MI | Full Time | 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

Optical Technician Job Overview:

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting cycle counts, overseeing office or distribution center (DC) inventories, handling product exchanges, processing merchandise returns, receiving and ordering product, reviewing various inventory reports, and managing stock levels while adhering to the established budget.
• Additional responsibilities may include pulling lenses and matching to frames, working on assembly line, or following up on patient orders.
• Must have the ability to follow and/or interpret oral and written directions and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and project a positive image. Requires basic computer knowledge and experience. Must have the ability to complete tasks that require analytical thinking.

Optical Technician Qualifications:

Minimum Education/Experience:

• At least 1 year experience
• Any type of assembly, light manufacturing experience, warehouse experience
• No heavy lifting – up to 15 pounds (not all the time)
• On your feet most days
