SENIOR SALES DIRECTOR, Insurance Marketplace

Virtual, work from home.

$140,000 to 200,000 base

2x base commissions

Our company provides voice analytics solutions designed to accurately pinpoint fraud in speech through innovation in AI-driven voice-based risk assessment technology. This technology identifies fraud attempts by individuals (e.g. claimants, contractors, employees, and vendors) that legacy systems often miss and provides organizations from insurance, government, and many other sectors around the globe with rapid risk identification and reduced fraud.

 

Our Client has solved the challenge of screening large volumes of people at scale, in any language, and without bias. Our cutting-edge risk assessment technology is purposefully designed, built, and implemented to clear the vast majority of people who present low risk while identifying those few that present a higher risk. This has enabled our clients’ ability to optimize otherwise laborious, subconsciously biased, and inefficient screening processes.

 

 

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced technology sales professional to join our growing team and help build our presence in the insurance industry. The Sales Professional is a dynamic, hunter/closer who can work and deliver in a startup environment. The ideal person for this role will help manage existing go-to-market partnerships while identifying and closing their own opportunities.

 

You will be part of a collaborative team of Sales and Customer Success personnel but also work autonomously to execute our regional sales plan. Our Client is still a young company with game-changing technology and tremendous potential in the market. To be successful in this role you must be a team player with a strong work ethic, initiative, and a positive attitude.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

● Identify and engage net new business prospects within the insurance market

● Identify and engage new opportunities from a small base of existing customers and partners within the insurance market

● Manage the full life cycle sales process. Create and manage annual sales plans, prepare and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews

● Meet or exceed assigned sales targets (KPI/MBO)

● Be a strategic sales thinker while tactically meeting all objectives

● Attend relevant industry trade shows & conferences, and be willing to travel on short notice

● Participate in the design and creation of all demand generation initiatives

● Maintain close contact and coordination with our internal stakeholders

● Stay current on industry trends and competitors.

● Pay attention to details and accurately report and utilize our CRM system

 

Professional Qualifications:

● 7+ years of meeting or exceeding technology sales quota with product offering between $100k to $1M per transaction.

● A background in establishing pilot and proof of concept programs leading to full implementations is higley desired.

● Must be a Subject Matter Expert of the insurance industry ecosystem, with a sales performance background in vendor side technology .

● Must know the major sales channels, alliance partners, integrators, VARS selling into the insurance industry.

● Must be hunter able to open and close new logo business while concurrently upselling and cross-selling

existing clients and relationships.

● Familiar with, and connected to relevant insurance company stakeholders in fraud prevention, claims,

investigations, CFO suite, risk, underwriting and technology.

● Startup, early adopter sales experience a plus

● Must have the force of personality to keep deals moving , delivering a sense of urgency, leading to a favorable conclusion.
