Group Fitness Trainer- RockBox Fitness

We're looking for ROCKSTAR group fitness trainers to join our team! Are you known to bring up the energy of the room and do you like to have FUN? RockBox Fitness offers high intensity boxing, kickboxing, and functional strength training group exercise classes. The Trainer brings his/her positive energy every single class and ensures that members experience an immersive workout which takes their fitness to a higher level.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of up to 36 clients
• Energize and motivate members throughout the classes
• Motivate and call members by name during the class
• Build class attendance and retain current members
• Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and offer corrections to members during class
• Provide modifications and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
• Attend monthly staff meetings
• Partner with the front desk team on membership and supplement sales
• Cleanliness and tidiness of studio

Job Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics
• Ability to deliver upbeat and positive energy!
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Current fitness certification, such as: ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, AFAA
• CPR/AED certification
• 1+ years experience as a fitness trainer, group fitness trainer or personal trainer in the fitness industry
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30 - $40 per class

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Group Fitness Certification or Personal Training Certification

• Group Fitness Training: 1 year (Required)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
• Group or Personal Training Certification (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
