Instructional Aide in Pittsburgh, PA 15217
Collaborates with teachers and therapists to provide support and supervision to special education students.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience working with pediatric autism (preferred)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support in implementing traditional and technology-based learning materials.
Supports students in the classroom with assignments, tests, and activities.
Use computers, tablets, audio-visual aids, and other assistive equipment to supplement learning.
Guide students in the use of learning materials to prevent injuries and damage.
Remain calm under stressful situations with students.
