Summary of Position

Elevate the art of mixology and lead the charge in crafting unforgettable experiences as the Bar Lead at Dante. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your creativity, leadership, and passion for delivering exceptional bar services in a sophisticated and upscale environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Job duties include, although are not limited to:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring impeccable service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Collaborate with the beverage team to develop innovative and enticing drink menus that align with the Maybourne’s luxury brand.
• Provide warm and engaging service to guests, creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere in the bar.
• Anticipate guest preferences and tailor recommendations to enhance their overall experience.
• Ensure that guest inquiries, requests, and concerns are addressed promptly and with the highest level of professionalism.
• Effectively manage and resolve guest concerns or issues, ensuring swift and satisfactory solutions.
• Utilize feedback to continuously improve and enhance the guest experience.
• Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of bartenders and bar colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professional development.
• Conduct regular training sessions to ensure colleagues are well-versed in mixology techniques and product knowledge.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, continuously introducing innovative and seasonal elements to the bar program.
• Ensure the highest quality of ingredients and presentation in all beverages served.
• Conduct regular tastings and evaluations to maintain consistency and excellence in the bar offerings.
• Oversee bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and managing stock levels.
• Implement cost-control measures to optimize beverage-related expenses.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a luxury bar or lounge setting.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with a focus on team development.
• Exceptional knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and upscale bar service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field preferred).
• Minimum of [2-3] years of progressive experience in bartending and bar management.
• Relevant certifications in mixology or bartending preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
