Bartender

The Academy Hotel, Colorado Springs is a family owned and operated full service hotel. We're looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to join our Falcon's Bar & Grill team.

Wages: $16.00 per hour + tips

Hours: 4:30pm - 10:00pm

Job Description | Responsibilities | Duties:
• Prepare alcohol & non-alcohol beverages. Ability to create classic and innovative drinks.
• Interact with customers with a polite and friendly attitude.
• Take orders in a timely manner and deliver drinks and meals to guests.
• Assist kitchen and server staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, timing and
presentation and timing to optimize our guests dining experience.
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
• Assess customers' preferences and make recommendations.
• Communicate with kitchen and serving staff embracing a team environment.
• Bus tables in a timely manner.
• Adhere to proper opening and closing requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in customer service and bar tending. Basic math and computer skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule based on hotel needs, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Problem solving, team-work, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, stamina.
• Knowledge of Food & Service Regulations.
