Job Description:

Creole Connection is seeking a friendly and organized Hostess to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and seating customers, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they enter and seat them at their tables or waiting areas
• Manage reservations and provide accurate wait times
• Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
• Assist with setting tables, taking drink orders, and providing items like crayons, coloring books, and snacks
• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)

Preferred Skills:

• Previous work experience as a Hostess
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Experience in managing reservations
• Excellent customer-service skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
• Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
• High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus
