Shop Technician

Temp to Hire -- Major International Equipment provider is seeking to add a Shop Technician in support of the repair and rebuild work they do for their clients. Responsibilities:

• Dissamble the equipment machinery that is returned
• Use all associated equipment including but not limited to Sand Blasting, Air Tools, and Torches.
• Be proficient in assembly and repair procedures.
• Cleaning of used equipment after receipt, including use of pressure washer and other equipment
• Performing repairs and any tests following company guidelines and procedures
• Capable of reading schematics and drawings associated with the equipment.
• Be attentive and adhere to  respective job site’s safety policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Make sure in-house and on-site work areas are clean and free of debris and waste at the end of every workday.

Qualifications:

• This role will require a well-rounded mechanical background and experience. 
• The position will require the candidate to become an internal expert of the equipment.
• An ability to handle multiple projects that are time critical and ever changing.
• English fluency required. Spanish or German language skills are a plus.
