Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Lead Java Developer to join our team in Kansas City, KS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, particularly within the telecom domain with expertise in OSS (Operations Support Systems). This is a contract position offering a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based solutions in the telecom domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable OSS solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system design, architecture, and code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing systems, providing timely resolutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the telecom domain.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong background in the telecom domain, particularly in OSS (Operations Support Systems).
- Experience with OSS/BSS systems, network management, and service assurance.
- Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of software development methodologies and practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
