RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As an automotive mobile service dispatcher, your role is crucial in coordinating the activities of mobile service technicians who provide maintenance, repair, and assistance to vehicles on the go. Your responsibilities typically include:
  • Scheduling and Dispatching: Assigning service requests to available technicians based on their location, expertise, workload, and urgency of the job. This involves managing incoming service requests via phone calls, emails, or through a digital platform.
  • Routing Optimization: Planning the most efficient routes for technicians to minimize travel time and maximize productivity. This might involve using GPS software or specialized dispatching tools.
  • Communication: Acting as a point of contact between customers and technicians, providing updates on service arrival times, delays, or any changes in the schedule. Clear communication is essential to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Resource Management: Ensuring that technicians have the necessary tools, equipment, and parts to complete their assigned tasks. Coordinating with suppliers or warehouses for timely delivery of required materials.
  • Problem Solving: Handling any unforeseen issues such as vehicle breakdowns, traffic delays, or last-minute service requests. Being able to adapt quickly and find solutions is essential to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries, complaints, or feedback in a professional and courteous manner. Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their needs are met is key to retaining business.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of service requests, technician schedules, work orders, and customer interactions. Generating reports on service performance, technician productivity, and other relevant metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitoring the quality of work performed by technicians to ensure it meets industry standards and customer expectations. Providing feedback and training when necessary to maintain high service standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that technicians adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing their duties. This includes proper handling of tools and equipment, as well as following traffic laws and safety guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and service enhancement. Staying updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to stay competitive in the market.
  • Overall, being an effective automotive mobile service dispatcher requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Have quality customer service skills
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Maintaining professional appearance.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record that is acceptable to our policies.
