Estimator

Job Summary: Draws up, estimates, and determines the overall costs of a new or existing construction project. Estimators create a list of all the needed materials and compute an estimated amount necessary to complete the client's project.

Overview:

• Works with Insurance adjusters, TPA’s, and building owners to estimate and garner work.
• Collecting all pertinent documents including property plans, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Studying documentation, meeting with clients, and inspecting the construction site to fully understand what work is required.
• Coordinating teams and materials for each project.
• Negotiating with service providers to secure quotes and bids.
• Outlining the work plan, and schedule that will be needed to complete each development.
• Meeting with clients to discuss their thoughts and concerns about our offers.
• Experience in Dash and Xactimate

Duties and Responsibilities

Daily:

·         Customer Care

·         Job Billing

·         Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction through use of industry software programs.

·         Evaluates offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes.

·         Resolve cost differences by analyzing and collecting info.

·         Stay up to date with safety & building codes.

·         Work with Project managers to satisfy completion of project on time and on budget.

·         Monitor progress of project and invoice accordingly

·         Schedule meetings with clients, building owners and adjusters.

·         Write up and present budgets, reports, and project plans.
