Youth Care Specialist - Therapy Aide

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Shift Hours: 8:00am-6:00pm
Job Summary
This position involves providing assistance for respite stays and facilitating children's engagement in virtual therapy sessions. The job requires flexibility in working hours, which may vary between 8 am and 6 pm on different days.
Responsibilities:
Provide for the physical and emotional needs of clients, including:
- Providing meals and snacks
- Assisting with personal care
- Monitoring medication
- Intervening in crisis situations
Facilitate a healthy group living experience, including:
- Creating a positive and supportive environment
- Managing conflict
- Enforcing house rules
Participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients, including:
- Attending treatment team meetings
- Providing input on treatment plans
- Implementing treatment plans
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Class E driver's license with good driving record
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent time management
- Oral and written communication skills
- Word, Excel, and e-mail applications proficiency
Must be 21 years old to apply
