Marketing Manager

Hellas Construction located in Austin, Texas is looking for a full time experienced Marketing Manager to handle all of its Marketing for a Specialty Sports Construction Company Solutions Based Provider.  This will include Product Branding, Creative,  Communications Campaigns and Press Releases.   

This position will provide key leadership for the Marketing and Sales Support Department for Hellas Construction, a national sports construction firm serving K-12, collegiate, and professional sports teams.  With vision, creativity and drive, this leader will plan and execute communications campaigns and sales materials that illuminate Hellas Construction’s marketplace dominance and position the company’s business development staff for continued growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Works to understand corporate objectives and marketplace dynamics. Develops and ensures execution of marketing strategies that seize opportunity and drive growth.
• Nimbly leverages resources to elevate the Hellas Brand.
• Provides direction, coaching and develops the marketing team. Conducts regular performance assessments to review productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
• Works with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees.
• Manages the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the Marketing Department, including controlling expenditures for projects, up to established limits.
• Ensures the execution of marketing materials, presentation, and signage requests 
• Keeps stakeholders and leadership team up to date with progress of projects. Ensures clear and efficient communications between the marketing/creative team, and the wider company.
• Manages the marketing activity with supplier partners and all external third party vendors.
• Assists in the creation of assets for any marketing and/or creative project undertaken by the department or digital team.
• Acts as the liaison for all NFL partnership collateral to ensure contractual agreements and trademark branding(s) are being followed and approves all requests and designs prior to distribution.
• Manages marketing department, including development and distribution of all marketing collateral.
• Managing a demanding and widely fluctuating workload in high-volume, deadline-driven corporate environment through resource assignment and project coordination, as well as the daily activity of incoming projects in an area of specialization

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent required. 
• Ten plus (10+) years management, marketing, and design experience, preferably at a startup or fast-growth company.
• Previous Agency background highly desired
• Supervisory Experience managing a team required
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal history background check and/or fingerprinting.
• Construction experience desired but not required

 Skills

• Strong knowledge and demonstrated history leveraging graphic design, videography, and other resources to make corporate and industry impact
• Strong knowledge and experience in marketing, supervision, and management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication are a must, including the ability to interface with others, regardless of title or position within the company, in a positive, approachable, and professional manner. This includes external contacts such as client-owners, vendors, and engineering professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff members.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking/problem solving skills.   
• Proven ability to make judgment calls and sound, ethical decisions displaying a heightened level of responsibility, confidentiality, integrity and professionalism.
• Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with data, and communicating data findings.
• Ability to execute both strategic and tactical priorities.
• Strong conflict resolution skills and persuasion, leveraging business acumen, expertise, and data to influence business decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Scheduling software). Ability to learn other functional software, which may include Adobe Creative Suite, Trello, Fiery, Font Xplorer Pro, Photo stream, chrome

Salary range listed is broad and will be based on candidate skill level and experience.
