Overview:

Premier America TOP Premium Finance is looking for a TOP Loan and Payment Specialist. This position is responsible for calculating and collecting return premiums and commissions along with performing various accounting and clerical duties.

What You Will Do:

• Assume responsibility for providing quality customer service to TOP Borrowers, General Agents, and Brokers.
• Calculate and collect return premiums and commissions from Insurance Carriers, General Agencies and Brokers.
• Process various TOP Premium accounting tasks.
• Review daily Collection reports.
• Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Premier America Team Members.
• Review and monitor cancelled accounts on various collections reports, perform biweekly follow-up on all accounts pending returned premium, commission, unpaid financed broker fees, or account balances.
• Assist with returned premium payments and unearned commission payments are posted accurately.
• Assist with unearned commission and return premium calls from brokers and general agents.
• Communicate unresolved outages or troublesome accounts with collections representative or higher.
• Ensures timely release of funding and verifies that funds are mailed to the accurate party.
• Book commercial, personal and additional premium loans.
• Review check holding log and confirms reasons for funding checks being held up.
• Run, review and obtain proper documentation to clear OFAC failed entries.
• Update Notice of Financed Premium (NOFP) as received; report any NOFP irregularities to the Agent.
• Work daily with Alerts from Bridger to ensure compliance with CIP.
• Follow all guidelines and procedures within the company and the law to prevent losses.
• Review assigned reports such as returned premium report, deposit report, and underwriting report.
• Prepare carrier verifications for management to review and approve.
• Exercise good judgement when reviewing and preparing LTV’s, down payment reductions, or exception for management approval.
• Stay informed of trends and changes in the financial field and attends seminars and professional conferences as necessary.
• Additional duties or projects as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of similar or related experience.
• A high school education or GED
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient project management skills.
• Good interpersonal demeanor.
• Strong computer knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, with sound knowledge in Excel and Word.

Pay Grade Info:

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings regardless of State. We set standard pay ranges for all roles based on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is: $22 -$28 hourly.
