Truck & Trailer Salesperson

Job Summary: Dimmick Group Peterbilt and Lucky’s Truck & Trailer Sales is seeking an experienced and energetic Truck & Trailer Salesperson to join our growing team. As a salesperson, you’ll play a crucial role in assisting customers with selecting trucks and trailers that meet their transportation needs. Your knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing retail truck and trailer sales will ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting trucks and/or trailers by actively listening to their preferences and requirements.
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to truck and trailer sales.
• Attend product and sales training sessions as requested by management.
• Prepare sold trucks for customer delivery, ensuring they are ready and well-presented.
• Deliver trucks to customers, providing clear explanations of operating features, warranties, and paperwork.
• Introduce customers to the parts and service department, emphasizing the quality and efficiency of available repairs and maintenance services.
• Utilize Arcadium for customer call logs and truck deal information.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three years of related experience in commercial truck/trailer sales or relationship-based sales.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred, but not mandatory (must meet company insurability standards).
