Job Description

We are seeking a Paramedic to join our team! You will provide patient care to acutely ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and interfacility transport situations.

Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls calmly, efficiently, and promptly
Conduct a careful examination of the patient for signs and symptoms of illness/injury
Coordinate and provide careful handling of the patient in moving him/her to and from the ambulance
Communicate with dispatch, other emergency services as needed, and medical personnel at emergency treatment facilities

Qualifications:

Must be nationally registered as a Paramedic
Maintain State Paramedic certification
Certified and maintain ACLS and HPBLS credentials
Maintain valid driver’s license and EMS Driver’s credentials
Ability to lift onto a stretcher and then carry, with assistance of a partner, a person weighing not less than 225 pounds
Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
Ability to prioritize and multitask
