CAD Drafter

Refrigeration Vessels and Systems Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of EVAPCO, Inc., is a manufacturer of pressure vessels and package systems used in the Industrial Refrigeration and Oil & Gas industries. Our office is located in Bryan, Texas where we have an immediate full-time opening for a SolidWorks Drafter/Designer, who will report to the Assistant Design Manager. We are looking for a self-motivated and detailed oriented person to join our team!

Specific Responsibilities:

• Develops models and detailed design drawings according to written and verbal specifications
• Consults with Engineers and Project Coordinators to resolve design problems
• Ensures that dimensions of equipment are accurately reflected in all designs
• Create a Bill of Materials based on 3D models
• Participates on special assignments as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or certification in Computer Drafting and Design Technology (or a related field) required.
• 2+ years of professional highly proficient 3D modeling experience required; SolidWorks preferred
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple assignments/projects with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to meet competing deadlines
• Must be able to balance working in a collaborative work environment with independently completing work tasks/projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
