Job Description

Job Summary:
The Golf Course Groundskeeper at Pritchard Companies in Mason City, Iowa is responsible for maintaining and caring for the grounds and facilities of our prestigious golf course. This is a part-time position and the ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of golf course maintenance and landscaping.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and care for the golf course grounds, including mowing, trimming, edging, and watering.
• Plant, maintain, and remove trees, flowers, and shrubs throughout the course.
• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems.
• Identify and control weeds, pests, and diseases.
• Operate and maintain equipment, such as mowers, tractors, and hand tools.
• Assist with construction and renovation projects on the course.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the course, including garbage collection and hazardous waste disposal.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
• Communicate with golf course management and team members to ensure a high level of course maintenance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping.
• Knowledge of turf management, including fertilization, aerification, and irrigation.
• Ability to operate and maintain various landscaping equipment.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
