GateSource HR is partnering with a well-established company in Puerto Rico, with an international footprint. The company is a leading distributor of premium brands of machinery and equipment, and supports its clients in a variety of markets across the Caribbean region.

Our client is looking to recruit a Spanish-speaking Sales Director to join its executive team. The incumbent will be part of the leadership team and provide strategic input to support the business growth in key market segments in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership to the sales team, emphasizing data-driven management and customer relationship to drive growth.

• Develop and supervise regional sales execution plans aligned with the business strategies, fostering long-term customer partnerships.

• Ensure the achievement of performance targets, including market share and customer satisfaction, through effective budgeting and forecasting.

• Foster key relationships with OEMs and other stakeholders to support the business objectives.

• Collaborate closely with various departments to forecast revenue accurately and optimize delivery processes.

• Cultivate personal relationships with influential customers and stay abreast of industry trends.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business management or engineering, MBA a plus
Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, with increasing experience in leadership roles.
Familiarity with dynamics within a network of distributors and dealers of premiums brands of OEMs in markets such as construction, industrial, power.
Proficiency in logistics, inventory management, and related processes.
Industry expertise across diverse customer segments.
Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
Fluency in both English and Spanish.
Willingness to work in-person and travel internationally as required.
