Used Car Biller

As a Used Car Biller at our Honda Dealership in North Richland Hills, TX, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of paperwork related to the sale of pre-owned vehicles. You will work closely with our finance team and outside financial institutions to finalize transactions and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of automotive billing processes are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Billing and Documentation:

• • Prepare all necessary paperwork related to the sale of pre-owned vehicles, including purchase agreements, title documents, and finance contracts.
  • Verify the accuracy of all documents and ensure they comply with dealership policies and legal regulations.
  • Input data into dealership management systems and maintain accurate records of vehicle sales and transactions.

Title Processing:

• • Process vehicle titles accurately and efficiently, including transfers, registrations, and lien releases.
  • Communicate with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and other relevant agencies to obtain necessary documents and resolve title-related issues.
  • Coordinate with customers to obtain signatures and other required information for title transfer and registration.

Compliance and Reporting:

• • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to automotive billing and titling.
  • Adhere to dealership policies and procedures to maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate reports as needed to track billing activities, sales performance, and other relevant metrics.

Experience:

• Previous experience in automotive billing, titling, or dealership operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork processing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems and dealership management software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of automotive billing, titling, and finance processes.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing vehicle sales and titling.
• Ability to interpret and explain complex documents and contracts.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional education or training in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred.
• Certification in automotive billing or dealership operations may be beneficial.
